Susan co-founded litigation and employment boutique H&K Law in 2014 after a dozen years practicing law at a large Denver-based firm. In her new role, she personally provides high-touch, customized representation to employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies in all facets of employment law. She enjoys finding creative business and legal solutions for her clients, which include select executives and high-level managers. Ms. Klopman also counsels on matters related to ADA, ADEA, Title VII, FLSA, FMLA, the Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act, the Colorado Wage Act, the drug and alcohol testing regulations, and others. In addition to authoring several articles on various areas of employment law, she has been a speaker/trainer on topics ranging from association claims under Title VII/ADA, physical threats in the workplace, to performance management and exit strategies. She has been recognized as a Colorado Rising Star® for 2010, and serves as the current President of the Colorado Lawyer Trust Account Foundation (COLTAF). Ms. Klopman received her A.B. from Mount Holyoke College, magna cum laude, and her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of St. Ives.
